The pistol comes with its original black-brown leather holster.

The Model 1914 was an improvement on the Model 1910 by changing the pistol’s calibre from 6.35mm to 7.65mm.

Its serial number of ‘118285’ dates it around 1916.

The pistol has a blued finish, cross hatched brown wooden grips along with the unique Luger type frontal site, which is specific only to the WW1 models.

The left side of the slide is stamped with the serial number and the manufacturer’s details.

The frame is stamped on the left with the Mauser logo and on the rear with the serial number ‘118285’.

Above the trigger, the frame is stamped ‘285’.

Near the rear sight can be seen two Imperial acceptance proof marks.

It can be cocked and dry fired.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel length is 3.5 inches (9 cm) and the overall length of the pistol is 6.25 inche (16 cm).

The holster length is 6.7 inches (17 cm).

The set weighs 720 grams.

~ Condition ~

The pistol is in excellent condition.

99% of its bluing is preserved. The only area where the colour is lost is towards the muzzle, as an expected sign of usage.

The wooden grips are damage free.

The holster has the minimum amount of wear expected for such an old piece.
