~ Deactivated 1970’s Belgium Browning Sport Semi-Auto Pistol Cal.22 LR ~
This is a contest winner pistol made by the FN factory in Belgium.
On the barrel can be seen two stickers from 1970’s German shooting contests.
The barrel is stamped on the left side ‘Fabrique Nationale D’Armes de Guere Herstal Belgique’ and on the other side ‘Browning’s Patent depose .22 L.R.’
The trigger guard is stamped ‘Akah’.
Under the barrel, it is stamped with the serial number of the pistol ‘12109’ along with a pair of proof marks.
The metal frame of the grip is stamped with the serial number ‘12109T69’.
The magazine is stamped underneath ‘.22 LR Browning’.
The pistol cocks and dry fires.
~ Dimensions ~
The barrel length is 6 inches (15.3 cm) and the overall length of the pistol is 11 inches (28 cm).
It weighs 1.2 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The pistol is in very good condition with minor signs of usage. The bluing of the pistol is next too entirely preserved.
