~ Converted Wooden Propeller Hub Clock ~

A nice clock made with a repurposed wooden propeller hub.

The piece consists of a small cockpit clock mounted into the hub of an old small wooden propeller.

The propeller blades have been cut approximately 2 inches from the hub. The piece has been varnished and has a metal screw to the base
for stability.

The hub has a serial number to the reverse of ‘’10741’.

The clock is named ‘Smiths, MA, Cricklewood Works, London’. It has a serial number to the dial reading ‘P-310.180’. It flips open to reveal the winding
key and the hands turning knob.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece measures 11 inches (28cm) across, 4 inches (10cm) deep and has a height of 6 ½ inches (16.5cm).

It weighs 2Kg.

~ Condition ~

Both the propeller and clock are in a nice condition with only general usage wear but no damage. The screw 'stand' is a bit loose.

The clock is in working order.
