~ Circa 1910 William Moorcroft For Liberty & Co. Claremont Toadstool Bowl ~

Both the interior and exterior of the bowl are decorated with red, brown and blue toadstools on a green and blue ground.

The underside is back stamped for "Made For Liberty & Co." (this was in used from circa 1903 till 1913),  R N 420081 (for the registered design number)  and William Moorcroft's signature in green.

The toadstool design, introduced in 1904 and named Claremont by Liberty & Co. remained in production for nearly 40 years, though with this particular back stamp the piece can be no later than 1913.
