~ Circa 1910 Royal Doulton Art Nouveau Gas Light Pipe Cover By Emily Wood ~

The ceramic piece is glazed in sage green, dark green, cobalt blue and white over a salt glazed body. Inside is the monogram 'WW' for Emily Wood.

The white ring is pierced in each circle to let light through and the sage green band is pierced four times to take a wire pendant mount.

A most unusual subject matter for Royal Doulton, I have never seen another like it!

Please refer to the images for condition. There is a short, hairline crack to the lower lip.

~ Dimensions ~

The lamp shade is 20 cm (8 inches) in diameter and 20 cm (8 inches) tall.
