~ Circa 1830 Turn Off Smooth Bore Barrel Percussion Pocket Pistol By Selby Of Wareham ~
The gunsmiths name is on the left side of the frame, they were located in Wareham, Dorset.
The stock is of walnut with a blank silver escutcheon plate. The frame is of brass, the fittings are of steel. It is fitted with a safety catch which locks the piece on full cock.
~ Condition ~
The pistol is in good cosmetic condition, the stock is complete with bruising from use, one small chip. The metal work has some minor pitting. The lock works well with a decent, if a little weak, spring on full and half cock. The barrel unscrews with ease.

The pistol has an overall length of 15 cm (6 inches).
