A lovely quality salt glazed jug in the form of Lord Nelson by Doulton & Watts, potters of Lambeth, London.

This is the original version of the jug dating to c1830, reissues were produced in 1870 and 1905.

It is a half bust of Nelson and has a rope twist handle to the reverse.

The underside is stamped 'Doulton & Watts, Lambeth Pottery, London'.

The jug stands at 16cm (6 ¼ inches) with a width of 14cm (5 ½ inches).

It weighs 710g.
