~ Circa 1810 Spode Famille Rose Lozenge Dish ~
The dish is hand glazed with beautifully coloured floral motifs in the Famille Rose shades with gilt high lighting to the border and a central blossoming cherry tree. It is a lozenge shape with gently curving borders.
There are no marks or stamps on it.
~ Dimensions ~
The width of the dish is 10.5 inches (26.8 cm), it depth is 7.5 inches (19 cm) and it stands 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) tall.
It weighs 430 grams.
~ Condition ~
The dish is in excellent condition for its age, there are no chips or cracks. There is no visible damage on the glaze. The gilding is worn, particularly on the edges.
The margins have the expected signs of wear but it overall condition is very good.
