~ Circa 1800 Non Regulation Royal Navy Fighting Sabre ~

The sabre has a strongly curved slender un-etched blade, brass mounts and a chequered ivory grip. The black leather scabbard has pierced brass mounts and two suspension rings.

~ Condition ~

The sword is in good order, some blackening to the blade, one chip to the grip. The scabbards leather is in good order, the stitching remains tight. There are numerous dings to the mounts.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 77 cm (31 inches) in length, the blade is 66 cm (26 inches) long.
