Here we a have a brilliant relic item found near Darby, a pommel from a dagger dating to approximately 1600.

The pommel is a scaled down version of the ones seen on rapiers and complex hilted swords of the time.

The pommel is cast iron with file and chisel work decoration.

~Dimensions ~

The pommel is about 1 square inch (2.5cm).

The pommel weighs 40g.

The pommel is in good shape for a relic.
