~ Chinese Qing Dynasty Nephrite Jade Cylindrical Lidded Brush Pot ~
A lovely hand carved jade cylindrical vessel with lid, it dates to Qing Dynasty or earlier.
There are carvings of mythical creatures and other decorations around the pot.
The nephrite jade is a light grey in colour while the lid and bottom are of black jade.

The base has a diameter of 3 inches (7.2 cm), the height with the lid measures 5.75 inches (14.8 cm) & the height without the lid measures 4.75 inches (12 cm).
It weighs 530g

The piece is in great condition with no cracks or chips.
