This is a charming jade carving of a resting dog.

The dog has his head turned back with tail rolled in to the right side. His belly shows his ribs.

The piece is mid celadon in colour.

It is in a Qing style, and is quite probably a period piece.

The dog has a length of 3 inches (7.6 cm), a depth of 1 inches (2.6 cm) & a height of 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).

It weighs 75 g.

The piece is in great condition with no cracks or chips.
