~ c1940 Brass Model Of A Spitfire Plane On Stand ~
Here we have an interesting desk size brass model of a spitfire fighting plane.
The brass model sits atop a metal rod mounted on a base made from a slice of a propeller blade, presumably from a Spitfire.
~ Dimensions ~
The base has a width of 7 ½ inches (19cm) and the total height of the piece is 6 inches (15cm).
It weighs 520g.
~ Condition ~
The brass shows some age wear and some amount of surface rust in places but the item is free from any major damage.
The holder rod is a bit loose but is functional and it keeps the plane model in the air.
