~ c1900 French Ormolu & Onyx Five Branch Candelabra ~
This is a beautiful five branch ormolu candelabra/candle tree. This fine piece was converted from a small chandelier.
The candelabra are held upon scroll work branches, with a fifth upon a raised central platform. The piece is mounted onto an green oynx base, raised on hoofed, acanthus feet.
~ Dimensions ~
The base has a length of 6.5 inches (16.5cm) and a width of 16.5 inches (42cm). The piece has a height of 22.5 inches (57cm). It weighs 6.1kg.
~ Condition ~
Some minor wear to the gilt and some of the former wires are still visible underneath. The onyx base appears unmarked with no signs of chipping.
