Frederick Miller (exh.1880-92), father of William Ongley Miller, was a Sussex marine artist living in West Brighton (1880), Burgess Hill (1882), and Haywards Heath (1884). He exhibited at the Walker Gallery, Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists, and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
