~ C1780 Prussian Infantry Sword ~

The grip is made of solid brass and the hilt is shaped as the Ace of Clubs.

It has a few serial numbers; to the guard there is '1 No.332.28.L.R.' and to the underside of the hilt, '11.1.6.'

The leather scabbard has a metal belt clip to one side and stitching to the opposite side.

~ Condition ~

The sword in rusted to most of the blade, and is covering most of the detailed engraving, but some of it is shown in the images.

The grip shows a nice patination, whilst the scabbard is slightly splitting to the seam to one side and the leather is missing to parts and peeling to others.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword measures 81cm in length.
The blade measures 63.5cm in length.
