The block reads British Rail with the company logo, all in reverse type.
The piece is of brass and wood.

The block measures 28cm (11 inches) by 6.5cm (2 ½ inches).
*Condition*
The brass plate is in very good order with no issues.
The wood block has some age wear but is in decent order.
