~ British Military Issue Nero Lemania Stop Watch ~
From the 1960's/70's the stop watch has a split timer mechanism. (Rattrapante).
It has a stainless steel case, Arabic numerals and blued steel/copper hands.
The watch has a serial number of PATT 4, 487/GG/62 and the Government Broad Arrow on the back.
This particular piece is rather different from the other PATT 4 examples, having the more unusual spherical-shaped winding crown and, it seems a slightly different mechanism. The stamp on the back is also different as the broad arrow is situated between the Pattent number and serial number.
~ Condition ~
The stop watch is in good working order, it was recently serviced. The dial is excellent, as are the hands. The best example out there.
