"Battle of Victoria", 72 Tinplate Flat Soldiers
A Boxed vintage set of tin flats.
There are 72 pieces to the set in varying stances:
- 2 White, mounted soldiers
- 42 blue soldiers:
- 16 mounted
- 16 with rifles
- 1 with drawn sword
- 1 being shot
- 1 with horn
- 7 horse tamers with whips
- 18 red soldiers (all mounted):
- 16 with spears
- 2 with swords
- 6 horses:
- 5 horses without riders
- 1 larger piece with two horses without riders
- 4 carts
- 2 with covers
- 2 without covers
The box is of brown card with a paper sticker to the front. The sticker reads "Battle of Vittoria", written in pencil underneath is "French in blue". The lid is stamped on the inside "Foreign".
~ Dimensions ~
These figures stand at approximately 35mm each. The box measures 6.5 inches (16.5cm) long by 4 inches (10.25cm) wide and 0.5 inches (1.5cm) deep. The box set weighs 470g.
~ Condition ~
The soldiers are in varying conditions. Though most of them still have the original paint, some have weapons bent, broken or missing. One is missing a base.
The box has some minor wear, the tabs are slightly loose but remain in a good condition.
