A& J Zimmerman was a silverware company established in 1879 by Arthur S. Zimmerman and John Ulrich Zimmerman. It became a limited company in 1902 and operated until 1930. The firm owned workshops in both Birmingham and London, and maintained a showroom in London, though most of their pieces were assayed in Birmingham.

The company primarily produced small, elegant silver items such as photo frames and boxes. The majority of surviving pieces are hallmarked between 1890 and 1910, indicating that this was the company’s most prolific and successful period.
