Early 19th Century British Royal Navy Officers Sword

The 1827 Pattern Naval Officers Sword was a sword designed for officers in the Royal Navy during the 19th century. It had a straight blade with a length of 32 inches and a brass stirrup hilt with a lion's head pommel. It was known for its elegant design and was used by naval officers in various conflicts and expeditions. This sword is stamped with the makers mark ‘GIEVE’S’ and ‘3445’ serial number.

*Condition*

This item is in excellent condition. Most notably the blade and the white fish skin grip. The leather/brass scabbard is similarly in good condition with a minor mark at the top of the leather. Please refer to the images as a part of condition report.
