~ Austrian Model 1888 Bayonet #1 ~

Here we have a knife bayonet for the Model 1888 Mannlicher rifle & Model 1888 (Bajonett Modell 1888). It was intended use was for troops within the Austro-Hungarian military during World War I.

The Austrian Mannlicher M1888 Bayonet was produced by the German company Simson & Co Suhl. The blade measures around 9.5 inches (24 cm) in length. The bayonet has a serial number of 4645.

~ Condition ~

The bayonet is in fair condition for its age. It has traces of green paint along the sheath and a few rust spots along the blade.
