A superb quality Elizabeth II period 'Royal Navy and Merchant Services naval crown brooch in 9ct gold.

The brooch features a navy crown set with 10 small pearls applied to a slender bar.

It is complete with original pin fitting with safety roller catch.

The brooch is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1967 and maker's mark of 'J.W.B' (J W Benson Ltd London). It was originally retailed by Gieves of Saville Row, London.

One pearl measures 2mm in diameter, two are just over 1mm and the rest just under 1mm.

The brooch measures 4.5cm in length

It weighs 2.6g.

The brooch is in very nice condition. All pearls present and the clasp works well.
