~ 9ct Yellow Gold Amethyst Pin Brooch ~
A lovely 9ct gold pin brooch /tie pin set with a good sized oval-cut amethyst.
The amethyst is bezel set to the top of the pin with a twisted gold thread border.
The pin/stick has a downward spiralling groove and is complete with a clutch-stopper.
As with many vintage pins this is not hallmarked but has been tested for gold.

The amethyst measures approx. 2.0 carats (8mm x 10mm.
The pin measures 7cm in length.
It weighs 2.6g.
~ Condition ~
There is very minor wear to some edges of the amethyst but this is only noticeable on close inspection. Overall the piece is in a lovely condition and presents very well.
