A fantastic 9ct gold purse watch by the Swiss watch company ‘Tavannes’ and retailed by the British luxury goods brand ‘Dunhill’.
The watch has a 9ct gold case, with buttons to each end which when pressed reveal the watch face. The watch face can then be folded out and will sit upright so the watch can be placed on a side table.
The square dial has a cream face with Arabic numerals and two steel hands.
The dial reads ‘Dunhill, Chronometre, Tavannes, Swiss Made’.
The case is hallmarked to the inside for 9ct gold, Glasgow, 1929.
It also bears the serial no. ‘829925 61’.
The watch has a manual wind mechanical movement.
