~ 19th Century Transitional Six-Shot Pepperbox Improved Revolver ~

An excellent example of a mid-19th-century transitional revolver with foliage decorated silver metal body marked 'Improved Revolver' and chequered wooden grips.
The lower end of the metal part of the grip is fitted with a trapdoor. The wooden top features a silver cartouche.

The revolver is double action and every barrel is proofmarked and numbered from 1 to 6.

~ Condition ~

The piece is excellent for its age and is in full working order.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrels are7 cm long and the overall length of the piece is 2 cm (8 inches).
