A Staffordshire character jug of Admiral Lord Nelson, c1810
This English produced jug was made in the early 19th century, and is modeled with a half length of uniform. The jug is sparsely coloured with gilt decorations.

The jug has cracks some cracks to the top read. There is a small chip to his nose. The gilding is worn.
