19th Century Solingen Horse Hoof Sword Stick

1800s Sword Stick Cane

Out of stock

This is a sword stick from the Victorian era. The cane stands at 90cm tall and the hidden blade is 54cm long. The handle is in the shape of a horse’s hoof and is likely made out of resin or rhino horn. The Solingen blade features proof marks and a number 5 on one side – indicating it is large cane. There is no sharp edge to the blade as it tapers into a needle point.

*Condition*

The cane is in great condition for its age – it remains strong and sturdy with only minor marks to the surface. The Solingen blade is excellent with a light patina in keeping with its age. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
