This wonderful 19th century vase is of Inverted baluster form with a wide mouth. It is of bronze and unusually silver plated - most similar pieces are left in the natural bronze.
It has beautifully etched detailing of clouds & swirling winds and is cast in deep relief with birds.
It bears no makers marks.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase measures 9 ½ inches (24cm) in height with a diameter at its widest point of 5 ½ inches (14cm). It weighs 1.54 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The vase is in very good condition for its age a minor ding to the lower rim. The silvering has minor wear and is lightly tarnished, we have left it as is. When photographed there were some white marks inside, these have now mostly been washed away after a quick wipe.
