A traditional South African knobkerrie made of hardwood.

It is carved from one piece of wood with natural colouration and grain.

The piece has a large knob at one end and long tapering shaft.

There are three bands of angular carved decoration along the shaft at regular intervals.

There is a knot half way down the shaft which gives it a slight bend.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece measures 31 inches (79cm) in length and the knob to the top has a circumference of 10 inches (25.5cm).

It weighs 585g.

~ Condition ~

The item is in nice condition with just a few small scratches and the odd minor dent as to be expected of a used item of this age.
