~ 1960’s Beechcraft King-Air Airplane Battery Operated Toy ~
A 1960’s Japanese made "Asahi, Junior Toy"#6023 ‘Beechcraft King-Air’ model airplane.
The Beechcraft King-Air was a civil utility aircraft developed in the 1960’s. It was used by the United States Army and Navy, the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force and the Philippine Navy.
This battery operated model toy is made of plastic and lithographed tinplate metal.
The model when switched on lights up, has rotating propellers, moves forward, turns in circles and dips its wings.
It takes two ‘D’ size batteries (not included).
The toy comes in its original picture card box.

The plane has a wingspan of 35cm (13 ¾ inches) and a length of 35cm (13 ¾ inches).
The box measures 38cm (15 inches) by 17cm (6 ¾ inches) by 12cm (4 ¾ inches).
Together they weigh 690g.
~ Condition ~
The toy is in a really good condition with only a couple of spots of light wear.
The box is in very nice condition also.
The toy is in working order though needs a bit of a nudge to get it going.
