The umbrella has a carved and paint parrot head handle with a plastic ring that resembles jade and a carved wooden finial. It was once owned by Agnes Imlay.

Agnes Imlay was born on July 29, 1868 in Shoreditch, London, England as Agnes Margaret Imlay. She was an actress, known for I Lived with You (1933), The Morals of Marcus (1935) and The Rocks of Valpre (1935). She died on January 18, 1945 in Greenwich, London.

The umbrella is in great condition for its age. However, one end peg is broken and one is a replacement.
