~ 1930 Framed Papier Mache Portrait Of King Edward VII ~
The papier-mache portrait is nicely molded in 3D relief and is delicately hand coloured. The frame is of wood with applied gesso and an inner gilt mount with four gilt rosettes. A great example of its type. Its is signed E C for E. Coldwell. A label to the reverse reads "Presented to King Edward Lodge January 1930 by E. Coldwell".

Please refer to the images for condition. The frame has some wear and there are three whiter marks at the 11 o'clock position to the portrait.
