A beautiful ring of 18ct yellow gold featuring a round-cut deep purple amethyst to the centre surrounded by eight small round-cut
diamonds claw set into a platinum surround.
The ring has a slim plain band with tapered shoulders.
The ring is hallmarked inside the band for 18 carat gold, Birmingham, 1971 and 'HS' for the makers name.

The diamonds measure approximately 0.01 carats (just under 1mm diameter) each.
