~ 1874 Remington Model 1867 Rolling Block Carbine ~

The fully stocked carbine has a ladder rear sight and a blade front sight. It is fitted with a single suspension loop.

It is dated 1874 to the lock and has a low serial number of 1630 to the other side and the same to the barrel. The barrel is also stamped 'JR' and 'JC'.

~ Condition ~

The carbines stock and metal work are in good, tidy order. It half cocks, cocks and releases with a strong spring. The rolling block opens smoothly. It is missing its ramrod.

~ Dimensions ~

The carbine is 86 cm (34 inches) in length with a 43 cm (17 inches) barrel.
