~ 1857 Minton Indian Tree Pattern 10 Piece Ceramic Dish Set ~
A nice set of 10 ceramic dishes in the Indian Tree pattern by Minton 1857.
The set is comprised of 8 plates and 2 tazza dishes.
Each piece has the main brightly painted image of the tree and flower to the centre with a border of flowers and a blue twist pattern edge.
The tazza’s also have floral decoration and the blue twist pattern to the foot of the pedestal.
Each piece has impressed marks of ‘Minton’ and the diamond date mark for 1857 to the baseey all have the hand painted number ‘9196’.
~ Dimensions ~
The plates each have a diameter of 9 inches (23cm).
The tazza’s measure 8 ½ inches (21.5cm) by 11 ½ inches (29cm), with a height of 2 ¼ inches (5.5cm).
The set weighs 5.16 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The pieces are all in a very nice condition with no damage. The plates have the odd bit of wear mainly to the outer borders, one is a little more worn than the others and one has a slightly darker border.
