~ Victorian remake of a 17th Century Rapier and Leather Scabbard Swords ~

A Victorian remake of 17th Century English Rapier, having upswept and downswept quillions, twist style guard, grip bound with wire, the oval pommel stamped 184, together with stiff its leather and metal scabbard. A good wall hanger.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword has an overall length of 102cm (40 inches) with a 82cm (32.5 inch) blade.

The set weighs 0.86 Kg.

~ Condition ~

The sword is a rough example. The blade is very heavily pitted over large areas. The guard has a brazed repair. The scabbard is partially unstitched.
