The Talwar has a heavily curved steel blade and was used by both cavalry and infantry.

The sword comes with a brass cross handle, S shaped guard and a round candle pommel.

The blade is 25 inches (64 cm) long and the overall length of the sword in its scabbard is 35 ½ inches (90 cm).

It weighs 870g.

~ Condition ~

There is some amount of pitting, surface rust and the expected patina on the blade but the item is in fair condition for its age.

The brass elements of the grip show some signs of oxidation.
