Original early 19thcentury light cavalry sabre sword for sale. The Pattern 1796 light cavalry sabre is a sword that was used primarily by British light dragoons and hussars, and King's German Legion light cavalry during the Napoleonic Wars. Precise date of manufacture is unknown due to the absence of makers mark and stamps however; its condition does indicate its age and originality.

There is heavy pitting on the blade. Slight damage and scrapes to the grip that has caused the handle to be slightly loose.  Please refer to the images as a part of the condition report.
