Original WW2 US M1 Helmet

This is an original American M1 helmet from World War 2. This particular helmet has a rear seam and swivel bales. The swivel bales were implemented to the M1 helmet as the original fixed bales had a tendency to break when the helmet was placed down. It also features a Westinghouse liner which has “Frisinger, 477-78-2970” written on it. This is a classic piece of 2^nd World War history.

*Condition*

The helmet is in very good condition for its age. There is some small damage to the paint on the dome and the liner remains strong and intact. Please see pictures for more detail.
