Here is a classic depiction of a carved Chinese Fortune "Foo Dog".
The animal is in a lying position facing left with finely carved intricate details. His face is in the typical style of oriental Foo with lion like features.
There is a hole drilled between its paws so the piece can be worn as a pendant.
The stone is mid green in color with very strong brown veining inside the stone.
It is a 20th century piece in the Qing dynasty era style.
