Victorian Display Model of 2nd Dragoon Guards Gilt Albert Helmet

This is a Victorian display model of the 2^nd Dragoons Guards (Queen’s Bays) helmet Albert Helmet. This helmet was a military, ceremonial headgear from the late 19^th Century. It has a distinct, gilt finish with the 2^nd Dragoons insignia on the front and a black hair plume. It is complete with its black, leather liner and chinstrap. In addition to the helmet, a wooden stand and painted pine box marked with ‘2 DRG GDS’ and broad arrow are included. The box measures approximately 32.5cm tall.

~Condition~

This model helmet is in great condition with no damage. It has very few minor marks and some slight discolouration on the decorated parts. Please see pictures for more detail.
