A wonderfully decorative piece in the form of a guards soldier, mortar and shell stack that opens up to reveal an ink stand.

The model is of spelter with some gilt highlights.

It is marked with the manufacturer`s mark "Verlag bei E G Zimmermann of Hanau" to the underside.

The model measures 11 ¾ inches (30 cm) across and 6 ¾ inches (17 cm) in height.
