A wonderfully decorative piece in the form of a guards soldier, mortar and shell stack that opens up to reveal an ink stand.

The model is of spelter with some gilt highlights.

It is marked with the manufacturer`s mark "Verlag bei E G Zimmermann of Hanau" to the underside.
