WWII German Luftshutz Helmet #2

A good example of this civil defence helmet.

This organisation was tasked with multiple duties from fighting fires to clearing debris from the streets after bombing raids. At the end of the war, Luftschutz forces helped in the last ditch defence of Berlin against the advancing allied forces.

The rear end of the rim is stamped inside “20657” and “EE64” on the left side.

It is complete with its liner and chin strap.

The liner is stamped size 56.

~ Dimensions ~

It measures 11.3 inches (28.5 cm) from front to back.

~ Condition ~

The decal has some minor loss. The liner is complete and all tongues are intact. The skull is fine with minor paint chips.
