An original line of Union flag bunting and a length of red, white and blue swag used in VE celebrations  at the end of World War 2.

The swag is of  red, white and blue cotton with small loops along one edge at intervals.

The bunting comprising of 12 canvas squares each painted with the Union flag  joined by a length of cotton tape.

~ Dimensions ~

The bunting has a length of 6.5 meters (a little over 21 feet).

Each flag measuring 20cm (8 inches) by 30cm (11 ¾ inches).

The swag has a length of 4.2 meters (a little under 14 feet).

~ Condition ~

The bunting has general age wear. Some flags are in better order than others with a few small tears to several.

The swag is in good order with minimal wear.
