This is a very rare and excellent Tokarev SVT-40 automatic rifle.
On the top of the metal frame, just before the cartridge ejection mechanism is stamped with the Tokarev star and manufacturing year "1941". In the same area, on the left hand side is stamped "5656". The Tokarev proof mark can be found on most of the metal parts.
The rifle has matching numbers all round.
The wooden stock is stamped with the same serial number as the frame.

The barrel length is 26.5 inches (67.3 cm) and the overall length is 48.2 inches (122.6 cm).
The weight is 4.05 kilograms.

The rifle is in excellent condition. The metal parts preserve their original paint.
