WW2 1941 Made K98 Mauser with ZF-4 sniper scope on Z rail mount

The serial number registered on the certificate is '1269'.

The rifle has been stamped with a large amount of proof marks, waffen stamps and serial numbers.

The number '2689' is stamped on the left hand side of the barrel, the left part of the metal frame of the cartridge chamber is stamped 'Mod.98'. Just left of this is the number "1269" and a Waffen stamp. Going around centre of the metal frame is "DUV 41".

On the metal frame beneath the cartridge chamber, near by the trigger, can be seen two serial numbers: one near by the front screw '4766', with two Waffen stamps, '3467' below a Waffen stamp, and "2965 etched onto the trigger guard itself.

The Mauser comes attached with a ZF-4 sniper scope stamped "ZF K 43 dow 'TRIANGLE".

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel has a length of 24 inches (61cm), with the mauser having an overall length of 44.5 inches (113.5cm). It weighs 4.85kg.

~ Condition ~

Some minor wear and scratching to the stock, but the rest of the Mauser is in a good condition. The metalwork is clean and the stamps are clear.

The scope is in excellent condition. The optics are clear and clean.
