BEH Leitz WW2 Binoculars 1944 Nazi Third Reich Kriegsmarine binoculars
An excellent pair of Kriegsmarine Rubber armoured binoculars made by Leitz during WW2 for the German Navy and mostly used on the Uboats. This pair is in its original case with the Nazi Reichsadler embossed on the lid and M below denoting Kriegsmarine. The serial No is 444856. The Serial Range from 440763 to 474439 manufacturing specification was:- Coated optics, desiccant cartridge housings and rubber armour, so this pair were the top specification. The German optics were second to none and these binoculars are still perfect to use, very clear and bright.
*Condition*
The Binoculars show mild signs of use and age with a small amount of paint loss and perishing to the rubber but the optics are still perfect and they are in superb condition for their age. The case is in excellent condition with the stamps clearly visible, the elasticated catch and the leather hinge work well however the carry straps are missing and the loops to the rear have become detached at the top. Overall as good an example as you will see.
Please study the pictures as these form part of our condition report.
