The binoculars has serial nr. 4453.
The french company Huet Paris is well known for the manufacturing of fine quality military optics during both world wars.
In June 1940, France was occupied by German troops. They recognized the highly qualified and powerful optics and recruited the company Huet into these binoculars for the German army (Wehrmacht).
These binoculars are finished in a textured leather.

The binoculars have a length of 9 ½ inches (24 cm).

~ Condition ~
Both tubes are a bit polluted, but for the age of this binoculars you have a sharp picture and a relative good view.
The rubber eye cups have deteriorated but the lens gives a sharp picture.
There is some wear and tear to the metal and the textured leather but the item presents well.
